Acredito que o cargo seja "suboficial" na Força Aérea do Brasil. Se compararmos os "ranks" nos dois links abaixo, podemos observar que as posições de "Warrant Officer" estão acima das de "Sargents".

No Brasil, a posição de "Suboficial" está logo acima do rank "Sargento".
