A never-ending world?
Point out to older classes that evolutionists are compelled to assume that the Earth is many millions of years old, in order to accommodate an impossible process of evolution. One of the effects of the Earth being thought of as so very old, is that people imagine it will also go on for millions of years into the future. Although nuclear wars, food shortages, global warming, and so on, are seen as threats to ***a long future history for mankind****, people still think things will continue. Why bother about the end of the world?
