Ez szerintem jobb mint a subsidy, mivel a támogatás nem minden esetben pénzbeli. A support esetében ugyanez a helyzet, mert lehet anyagi is, meg szolgáltatás is.

Nekem egyből ez jutott eszembe, azt gondoltam, hogy ez talán más lehet amerikai és brit nyelvterületen.... de úgy tűnik használják mindkét helyen.

A grant kifejezés azért is jobb- szerintem- mert az egyértelműen egyetemistákra vonatkozik, support vagy allowence is biztos használható, ugyanolyan jó, de elég általánosan használt kifejezés. A housing benefit esetén nekem teljesen más jut eszembe (brit nyelvterületen az annyira berögzült a munkanélküliek támogatására használt kifejezésként, hogy az semmiféleképpen nem)
