significa di avere un letto in piu'. e' un letto supplementare che con le rotelle scompare sotto il letto principale. tirandolo fuori fanno due letti singoli da 90 cm cisascuno.

Secondo me è meglio tradurre la parentesi come : "un letto singolo con letto estraibile (che sarebbe, tutto insieme, il trundle bed), che si trasformano in 2 letti singoli di 90 cm ciascuno", senza mettere di nuovo "su due livelli", che in italiano è ovvio...
