طوب مُقطَّع بالسلك


Explanation:
From the same reference cited by my colleagues, the wire is used to cut the bricks, this is how it gets the name.
The current two tranlsations above (although I am not clear about the difference between them) may be translated back as: "bricks for cutting wire" although I am sure this was not meant, but my translation (in my opinion of course) allevtiates such confusion.
