Hi

I'm unsure as to how to translate this. It appears in this extract:

"Я проявил хладнокровие, для меня не удивительное, так как мне случалось уже замечать, что лицом к лицу с опасностью я становлюсь холоден и рассудителен. Я захлопнул дверь. Вынул из-под кровати чемодан с дневниками и рукописями (я хранил их в чемодане не на случай пожара, но использовав оный как архив). Взглянул на часы. Был час ночи."
