Validate yourself Explanation: I know this is not a dictionary translation, but this term has become a buzz word meaning to "acknowledge" somebody or an emotion, on a psychological level. I suppose when you say you "validate yourself" quite literally it means to "prove that you are a person" - i.e. an individual - apart from others and therefore unique. My take, but it remains pop psychology.
