With their year of experience... Explanation: I would translate the whole phrase "with their year of experience they will easily pass the test." You could cast around for a way of forcing a word for "forti" in there (fortified by their experience, strong from their experience) but in all honesty it wouldn't be idiomatic English. with a year of experience under their belts Explanation: This is very idiomatic and perhaps too informal for what you're looking for. In another construction, you could use 'on the back of' – 'on the back of their recent experience' – but I don't think this works well when there is an amount of time mentioned.
