Inače prvi engl. prijevod za njem. Ringbolzen je 'eye bolt'.

  -> Pretpostavljam da Vas je zasmetalo Ringbolzen = eye bolt. Prema rječnicima jest tako premda 'eye bolt' ima i drugih njem. sinonima. Ali linkovi stoje, tu nema dileme.

Svornjaci su normirani konstrukcijski elementi slični zaticima. Njima se dobivaju zglobni spojevi u kojima moraju postojati labavi dosjedi - npr. kod šarki vratiju i prozora. Često je potrebno osiguranje protiv ispadanja svornjaka za što se koriste rascjepke, uskočnici i sl.

Ring bolt - okasti zavrtanj s alkicom; zavrtanj sa okastom glavom i prstenastom alkom provučenom kroz nju; ref. Enciklopedijski rečnik motora i motornih vozila, Aleksandar Jovanović S-E, E-S.
Ujedno se izvinjavam što definiciju iz S-E, E-S rečnika, ali nisam je mogla naći u E-HR rečnicima ili na HR sajtovima.
