So I know what it IS, but my mind is at a blank when it comes to thinking of an English term for it! Any ideas?

Asker: Even though this may be how somebody has translated it, in the context of the piece that I am translating just now, health and the improvement thereof has to come into it somewhere, otherwise it wouldn't make sense :) It may be recreational, but it is more than this...

Asker: 'Convalescent' implies that the child/adolescent had to be ill to start with, which I don't think is (always) the case ...

Asker: Although the WHO might have their preferred version, I am going to choose this one as it is exactly what it is - I need to send this one off now, so the points are yours when the 24 hours are up. Thanks!

Another option for you to ponder over :)) I think "Youth Camp" would be quite appropriate.
