Tech/Engineering - Architecture
German term or phrase: Sichtbezüge
Tageslicht, Sichtbezüge, einfache Orientierung und patientenfreundliche Gestaltung sind die wesentlichen
Charakteristika der Architektur

I'd translated it as: Daylight, visual orientation, easy to get ones bearings and a patient-friendly design are the most important characteristics of the architecture

but the client didn't like "easy to get ones bearings" Any help please.

but 'easy to get one's bearings' sounds very awkward, why not just 'straightforward or simple orientation'

agree  Harald Moelzer (medical-translator): "visual reference points" would work, too!
