My rough draft

As a consequence of the partial division of the Traction branch in favour of Grupo INGETEAM Traction, S.A, which was undertaken on 30 December 2008 (note 1), the Company transferred intangible assets for a net value of 3,518,819.44 €.

In this particular case, since "escisión" is spin-off, and hence a different company and not a "division," I believe the meaning in this case is "sell" or "sold" as the case may be, and not a transfer from one division to another.
