Возможно в США вы и живете в русской community, но боюсь, что тот факт, что в Вашей стране говорят все-таки по-английски наводит на мысль, что Вам сложнее (объективно) следить за тенденциями развития языка. (хотя странно, ведь и спутниковое тв и интернет) Я Вас уверяю, слово "бренд" на столько широко вошло в обиход, что некоторые даже уже и не вспомнят про "торговую марку" или что-то еще

There has always been a Russian equivalent word for "teenagers"- "podrostki", No matter how boring it may sound to the individuals disgusted with the own culture.
он – переводчик: его дело замечать чем теперь дышит язык и соответствено применять его в переводе. Что Рыжов совершенно компетентно и правильно сделал. Я не о Рыжове – я о культуре страны. А во что же Вы прекрестились (или от...), если не секрет?
И в этом то и весь кошмар... что “вошло“. И даже без вазелина. Культурологически, продались с потрохами, а еще и шебуршатся с “анти–американскими настроениями“, выраженными на лакейском “русском“ языке.
Зря Вы так иронизируете, Михаил слово "бренд" уже давно вошло в обиход. Оно легко узнаваемо в русско-язычной среде! Хотя "тинейджерский" - это не "по-нашенски", из разряда " а почему без смайла на фэйсе?"
