Visto che i *materiali energici* contenuti nelle munizioni in questione sono identici agli stessi della Partita XXX omologata il XXX...

There are four types of charges in the shell: propellant, payload, 2 detonators (for the propellant and for the payload). All are markedly different from each other. Instead of calling them just "explosives" the Italian military is coyly referring to them as "materiali energici". I am wondering whether there is a similar STANDARD euphemism in the US Military

Asker: Thanks! As my grandfather used to say, for the lack of a cleaning women, you'll go to bed with a gardener: since there are no specific artillery-slang offers, and I'm not allowed to use "explosives", I'll go for "energic"
