Italian term or phrase: al ventennio
I'm confused by this expression in this particular context. Do they just mean "during the last twenty years"? I originally thought this was "20 years previously", but that certainly doesn't make sense because we're talking about 1996, which is only 13 years ago! I'm definitely missing something here:

"Al ventennio l’immobile in oggetto era di proprietà della società “XXX” con sede in Milano, codice fiscale 0000 a seguito dell’atto di fusione XX novembre 1996 n. XX rep. Notaio Pinko Pallino di Milano, trascritto alla Conservatoria di Udine il XX novembre 1996 registro particolare 0000."

Explanation:
This looks as if it refers to the "visura ipocatastale ventennale".

at the twenty-year mark

Explanation:
I do not have the context, but it sure looks to me like the ventennio in this case it the 20th anniversary/20th year mark of something they are talking about.

agree  Mara Ballarini: I see it this way too, although we have no idea about which anniversary - could be sth related to the real estate, for ex. - however not specifically related to 20 years of ownership of the relevant property

neutral  SYLVY75: hmmm, I don't think this is the right context... Nothing makes us think we're talking about a building dating back to the Fascist era (unless the asker has more context).
