Whatever the wall/floor the "chaise" is fixed to is made of, "maçonné" here refers to the "décor" part built on top of it and covering the "chaise", only the threaded rods of which protrude. This "décor" is relatively thick, and can be brick, cellular concrete panels, etc. and is subsequently tiled over. |
