Slovak term or phrase: vonkajšie/vnútorné vyhotovenie
Ochranné pásmo elektrickej stanice vonkajšieho vyhotovenia s vnútorným vyhotovením je vymedzené oplotením alebo obostavanou hranicou objektu elektrickej stanice...

Does this mean the separation between the internal/external layout - i.e. in simple terms there is a fence or wall surrounding the substation? I just can't get my head around it at the moment :) Thanks for any suggestions!

In substations for outdoor use all components are housed
in a building, which protects the equipment against climate
effects and unauthorised access. The building will
typically be divided into three rooms for the mediumvoltage
switchgear, low-voltage switchboard and distribution
transformer. A substation may be operated from the
inside (Walk-in) or from the outside (Non Walk-in).

Thanks for your suggestion, Radovan, but I think this one was more helpful in this case as the links in Igor's contribution contained a lot of what I was looking for.

Protectiove area of the outside of an electrical station with internal working parts

Explanation:
This is terrible slovak, but I read it as
Protective area of the outside of an electrical station with internal working parts is defined by a fence or by a build out borders of the electrical station facility.

Asker: Yes - I thought it was something like that. The whole thing is pretty horrible but clearly not as bad as your medical stuff :) Whoever wrote this was having a bad day at the office (and it is the official wording of the energy act 656/2004 Z. z., if you are interested. Or not, as the case may be...)

Asker: This looks good! It makes fascinating reading.... not :) But the answer should lie somewhere within. Thanks!
