empty Explanation: "Empty" does the job. You could use "drain", "decant", "run off", etc, but why bother? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2009-07-01 15:10:11 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hi Tony. I had rather assumed that this referred to removing the transformer oil, but 40 t corresponds to about 50 m^3, which is a lot of oil, and therefore a very big transformer. Maybe you're right. In the event of doubt (which there is), Bashiqa's "remove" solution is suitably neutral. |

untanking weight Explanation: untanking weight = masse à décuver. Core, coils and tank lid are the components of the transformer untanking weight. Such untanking takes place for inspection, maintenance or repair of power transformers. |
