Leave that complication as is Explanation: First of all, there are typo in this short sentence, which leads to following question, but the typo issue first ...... 本橋 is not right, it should be corrected to 本稿. What this typo makes me feel apprehensive about your quoted sentence is whether the first part of ふくざつ of "ふくざつさを複雑さのままに" was in original, and not another typo of 複雑さをふくざつさのままに. Or the author wanted to make it in Hiragana for purpose of some emphasis. Now let's tackle the question as is by setting the apprehension aside. Then I came up with this answer.
