Jag försöker föreställa mig situationen och jag tror att vi i Helsingborg hade pratat om en "affär". ICA, Domus etc. är "affärer", åtminstone i Skåne.

Det är nog sant att supermarket inte används i böjd form eller pluralis, mera som ett namn. Men en supermarket kan vara större än ett snabbköp. Svårt att säga.

neutral  Thomas Johansson: Ursäkta, men jag håller inte med om att det används exempelvis i dagligt svenskt tal. Jag har aldrig hört mig själv eller någon annan prata om att gå och handla mat på "supermarketen".
