nutritional quality of the soil Explanation: i.e. what is already there in the un-sludged ground. "8 Apr 2008 ... Application au raisonnement de la fertilisation en ..." cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=197454 "La fourniture du sol en azote est la résultante des phénomènes complexes de minéralisation et organisation des différents pools d'azote du sol. ..." www.n-direct.fr/informations-techniques/fertilisation-raiso... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 hrs (2009-06-02 20:54:01 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Following PRen's comment, I checked the dictionary. Though I am not sure, it looks as though because "nutrients" are the nourishing substances and "nutrition/nutritional" are about the intake and assimilation of nutrients, the nutritional quality of the soil should include both the nutrients in the soil and anything that makes them more easily assimilable by plants, not just the nutrients themselves. I suggest you check with your agronomist. |
