もう売られていないが、まだ車ファンの間で人気が高い、というnagareは分かるのですが、<It rails>とは? 手を加えれば動くという感じでしょうか?

あくまで可能性のひとつですが...。
これは劇/映画のスクリプトか何かでしょうか。
(在庫が無いのに) fix 云々ではなく、 "do" a couple of "things" to "it"という言い回しが、なにか悪事を画策しているような雰囲気の印象を受けました。つまり it rails の it が、車そのものを指すのではなく、この計画/取引を指しているような。
スクリプトだとすると、"collectable"のtypoが説明つかないのでなんとも言えませんが..。
classified類の文言にしては「在庫が無い」というのがなんとも納得いかないので、いろいろ考えを巡らせてみました。
