Uhm, as a matter of fact my translation is FROM English TO Italian, but the problem is (or rather was), that the concept of a Company accrediting a university professor is still beyond me, but I don't care since all I have to do is translate, not understand.

" there is no such thing as a professor accredited by a company in our university system" . I presume you mean the Italian university system. But such professorships exist in the US and the UK. And since your translation is from Italian into English, I can't see what the problem is.

Tom, the problem is that there is no such thing as a professor accredited by a company in our university system, at least as far as I know. Nor do I understand how can a private company accredit a professor, i.e. what does accredited, in this peculiar sense, mean?
I do not want to sound rude, but just because you don't see the problem, doesn't actually mean that there is none ;)
