In textele europene, se foloseste termenul "ecologic" daca se refera la aspecte tehnice (de ex. design ecologic), iar awareness, consciousness in acest sens, in aceleasi texte, se traduce "sensibilitate" (de ex. sensibilizarea populatiei).
