  -> uh, onestamente mi è uscita così - in effetti "ice" è ghiaccio... ok: farei marcia indietro se si trattasse di un testo per addetti ai lavori, ma nel caso specifico mi sembra conti di più una certa scorrevolezza - e ti ringrazio tanto!

Non so perché, ma ci stavo ripensando... Secondo me "cime/vette ricoperte di ghiaccio" è la soluzione giusta, dopo tutto si parla esplicitamente di ghiaccio e non di neve, e credo che di ghiacciai sulle Ande se ne trovino quanti ne vuoi, quindi non vedo perché cambiare il testo...
