In answering another question on this site, I came across this URL from the Supreme Court of Canada where "version dernière" was translated by "final form". The original text was translated from French to English and therefore you may want to consider using "final form".

This is the original text in French: "Note : Ce document fera l’objet de retouches de forme avant la parution de sa version définitive dans le Recueil des arrêts de la Cour suprême du Canada."

This is the translated text in English: "Note: This document is subject to editorial revision before its reproduction in final form in the Canada Supreme Court Reports."

B D, you are correct, as I stated in my explanation below. I have had extensive experience working in the finance sector both in the UK and Canada. Once a company's annual report has been officially publishing, whether electronically or as a hard copy, the actual content cannot be altered or revised unless erroneous inaccuracies have been found. (That becomes a whole other matter.) It's part of the accounting rules governing publicly listed corporations traded on stock exchanges worldwide.

I am not particularly into business admin. However, I thought that UK companies trading for profit had to submit their annual report to Companies House (the government institution, not their own headquarters). Once that was done, they could hardly produce an updated "edition 2".
