French term or phrase: péremption en corrélation avec...
This is part 2 of my question a few minutes ago. Again, totally stuck here. It's a Quality Assurance statement (by a medical devices provider): "Notre stock de Voisins est géré de façon à fournir à nos clients des produits en bon état et présentant une **péremption en corrélation avec** la revue de contrat." I really have no idea what they're saying... Any help greatly appreciated :-)

expiry dates according to ...
Explanation:
The French use of corrélation does not require "correlation" in English.
...the contract review. That document presumably contained a table of expiry dates, which probably included both use by and best before dates.

Not to mention sell-by dates

Thanks BDFinch - I think for some strange reason I had got into my head a more arcane legal meaning of "péremption"... And by the way I agree, I'm not sure where expiration first reared its ugly head - must get a copy of the Longer OED to see if they know who the culprit was :-)

Maybe the wrong way of saying this. Otherwise it does not make much sense.

"expiration date" = 23,100,000 G-hits

versus
"expiry date" = 8,220,000 G-hits.

neutral  B D Finch: Expiration does seem to have crept into Google, but "expiry" is still preferable.

indicate an expiration date as agreed upon during the contract review session

Explanation:
Hello,

products shall bear an expiration date as agreed upon during the contract review session

péremption = expiration date (quality control)
revue de contrat = contract review session
en corrélation avec = in correlation with = in agreement with

I hope this helps.
