There is No Two Without Three Explanation: Lo lascio low perché ho due soli riferimenti; il primo è il titolo di un libro, di autore apparentemente anglo-americano: http://www.lulu.com/content/2414798 ma il secondo viene da qui: http://englishfromfear.blogspot.com/2008/03/theres-no-two-wi... e non so quanto possa essere considerato accettabile..., :-( |

thins always come in three Explanation: I have only met this sentence once though; not sure it is a natural expression. If possible I would avoid the whole number thing -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 mins (2009-04-09 10:13:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- THINGS always come in three, SORRY -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 mins (2009-04-09 10:16:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- maybe good things always come in three.. |

all good things come in threes Explanation: is the nearest equivalent I have ever found but you sometimes have to play around with the general context to make it fit in -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2009-04-09 11:16:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The typical "English" expression would be "two's company, three's a crowd" but that is negative. There is also the more general "the more, the merrier" |
