Marketing - Advertising / Public Relations / appraisal of ad campaign
French term or phrase: prise de parole
This is from an assessment of the performance of an ad campaign (by a car window repair firm). I can't find a good way of expressing this apart from publicity drive - 'prise de parole' here I think simply means they have taken centre stage, spoken out, 'talked' to the public, etc. Here they list the advantages of having launched their campaign:

"La prise de parole

induit des réponses positives sur les performances de brand
Renforce le territoire de brand sur les services qu'elle propose [...]

Un impact sur l’image qui est plus significatif auprès des femmes and non clients de l’enseigne.

Speaking up

Explanation:
Hello,

No matter how you slice it or dice it, "prise de parole" has to do with speaking about something, even if it's not literally "vocal."

speaking up = expressing freely

I hope this helps.

Another option.

The 'man-in-the-street' flavour of the ad. makes me think it is important to this firm that potential customers feel they know and can trust them.

Addressing the public

Explanation:
This is a bland and obvious option, similar to the "talking to the public" you use several times in your explanation.
Addressing the public has a positive influence on brand performance, etc.

Given the client's reply, I think this might be quite relevant.
