E' sicuramente il cilindro idraulico che aziona il cassone ribaltabile. Però per "cover" intendono il tipo di connessione del fondello del cilindro, in particolare il tipo che in Italiano chiameremmo "flangiato" (vedi primo link). Wikipedia ti da una bella disamina dei cilindri, menzionando anche i vari metodi di congiunzione del "cap" ossia del fondello (vedi secondo link). Spero ti sia di aiuto. Buon lavoro.
