laboratories, and (study room)
Explanation:

this is in my dictionary.

teacher's office

Explanation:
I'd go for this since kabinety are usually teachers' offices. Only sometimes kabinet rather stands for a storage room (such as geography maps etc.)

In Czech, 'Kabinet' means a teacher's office in school. Elementary schools have 'kabinets' of math, chemistry and so on, where teachers keep their aides, where students are sometimes tested, and I told myself...

I think that "kabinet 1. stupňa" either indicates an office for teachers who teach lower primary school pupils, or a storage room where aids for these teachers are stored. I'd go for the first option and use something like lower primary school teachers' office.

Asker: Thanks so far, just a side question how would you say this in English: "Je potrebné dovybaviť kabinet 1. stupňa." I don't think teacher's office would make sense here

staff room/staffroom

Explanation:
This is what we always had at school, and is used in an educational context in the UK - there is no other real translation

Asker: I'm afraid that translates as "zborovňa" into Slovak.

Explanation:
But each school is different - there is no single term that is used

... at my secondary school (gymnázium), for example, we had 'School of Languages', School of Science', School of Music', etc, and each one had their own 'staff room' where we could go and see the teachers, and where they would hang out between lessons. There is no 'global' term :)

2 hrs
-> this was my particular secondary school (UK-private) - each school has different names for it, and there is no global term
