change in (X) Explanation: In the indirect method of determining cash flow (and your questions appear to relate to a cash flow stmt, not an income stmt), cash flow is determined by examining the change (net increase/decrease) in various line items to determine the cash flows from operating, financing, and investing activities. It would certainly help in provided exact terminology in accounting matters if you tell us which accounting standards are being used (HGB, IFRS). It does make a difference. |
