Ha igaz, főként az Opel használja a “Feldabhilfe” szót, ami angolul “field remedy” lett. Ezek a kifejezések több nyelvpárban szerepelnek kérdésként, pl.:

Magyarázat:

Helyszínen végzett - csak a szabatosság kedvéért. Ugyanis hibaelhárítás végezhető úgy is, hogy pl. telefonon adják az utasítást, és én, mint felhasználó, azokat követve hárítom el a hibát. Vagy pl. a szivattyú kezelési kézikönyvében megadott utasítások szerint.
Hibaelhárítás - mert a remedy szó nem csak javításra, hanem esetleg komplett cserére, és próbaüzemelésre is utal.
