Verder zoekend trof ik "run-in periode", kennelijk in ± dezelfde betekenis gebruikt (een onderdeel van de screening/selectieprocedure, voorafgaand aan het eigenlijke onderzoek) als goed-Nederlandse term ;-). Wat vinden jullie?

Googling for "roll-in period' I found several instances of the term in medical and other studies. Even as a sort of preliminary phase in phase II studies: "Subsequently, between May 2001 and April 2002, 230 consecutive patients underwent intervention of 248 SVG lesions with FilterWire distal protection during the roll-in period of the phase II study."
