Explanation:
Littéralement la définition (#2 ci-dessous) de morbid + change = "changement lié à une maladie". En français, c'est ce qui apparaît le plus souvent dans les contrats d'assurance (notamment vie).
A mon sens, le terme morbidité, encore une fois n'ayant pas vraiment sa place ici, est plutôt employé pour définir un groupe de personnes (ex: dans le "taux de morbidité" ou autre) affectées par une maladie et non une seule personne malade.
C'est plutôt "defect" qui me pose problème ici mais ce n'est pas l'objet de votre question :)
