Tradewinds

Explanation:
Depends where they are blowing (geographically). From your other questions it seems you might be dealing with the West Indies, in which case the Tradewinds, also known as "vientos alisios", blow in from the East - otherwise, the name does not apply.

And while Tarifa, because of its exposed position, is renowned for kite surfing, after Bolonia we'd been told the coast was less prone to the Levantine winds and the beach breaks became user-friendlier. Even if Barbate was a washout, Jan had assured us we'd be sure to find something surfable in El Palmar, a 2km stretch of sand directly to the west where the waves break from both right and left even at high tide.

Reference: Levanter

Reference information:
I think you could put it in Sp. and add a translation afterwards, but also if it's a tourism thing you could just put Levantine winds, as I also think it sounds nicer, even if Levanter is an "official" name - "easterly, Levantine winds"? I know it's a bit tautologous, but it avoids brackets, etc.

Viento de Levante or the Levanter refers to an easterly wind that blows in the western Mediterranean, an example of mountain-gap wind.
...The wind rises in the central Mediterranean or around the Balearic Islands and blows westwards reaching its greatest intensity through the Strait of Gibraltar. The winds are moist carrying fog and precipitation in the eastern side of the Strait, but dry in the western side, as the moisture rains on the mountains between Algeciras and Tarifa. The winds are well known for creating a particular cloud formation above the Rock of Gibraltar. The Levanter winds can occur at any time in the year, but are most common from May to October.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viento_de_Levante

The levant is the name of a wind blowing from the east in Provence, the Cote d'Azur, Roussillon and in Corsica in France. In Roussillon it is called "llevant" and in Corsica "levante." In the western Mediterranean, particularly when the wind blows through the Strait of Gibraltar, it is called the Viento de Levante or the Levanter.

When blowing moderately or strongly, the levant causes heavy swells on the Mediterannean. Usually gentle and damp, the levant frequently brings clouds and rain. When it brings good weather, it is known as the "levant blanc."[1].
