If they don't shout 'a mano derecha!' or 'a la izquierda!' then it's (obviously) 'straight ahead' (somethimes expressed as 'derechito, derechiiiiito, Señor!'). And distances are very approximate - one of my neighbours wouldn't bother with km at all - he'd say 'una pequeña hora' - regardless of whether I am walking or driving... |
