English translation: re-peen; peen again

English language (monolingual) [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering
English term or phrase: repeened
In a steam turbine maintenance manual there is this sentence:
Tenons raised from the shroud may be **repeened** per engineering analysis.

What kind of action is this?
Is this anything to do "hammering down"?

Some dictionaries list "peen" but non does "repeen" as far as I know. Am I missing something?

TIA

Explanation:
Tenons may be peened again per engineering analysis, i.e., if the engineering analysis indicates that it's necessary to peen the tenons again, then just do it.
