ti dirò di più. secondo me customer base e client portfolio (che pure esiste, in inglese) per quanto in apparenza sinonimi, si applicano a due contesti diversi. tutte le aziende hanno una customer base, ma soltanto alcuni tipi di aziende hanno un client portfolio. non credo, per esempio, che un'azienda della grande distribuzione, con migliaia di piccolissimi clienti (customers) abbia un portafoglio clienti. Un'agenzia pubblicitaria, che offre servizi "personalizzati" ai propri clienti (clients) ha un portafoglio clienti. IMHO, that is.
