German term or phrase: Näh- und Bekleidungstechnik
Bonjour,

Je travaille sur un fichier PowerPoint qui présente la fédération allemande VDMA (vdma.org si ça peut aider), plus précisément sa branche "Bekleidungs- und Ledertechnik".

Les textes sont en anglais, mais je pense qu'ils ont été rédigés par un Allemand. L'expression "sewing and garment technology", qui correspond à l'allemand "Näh- und Bekleidungstechnik", revient à maintes reprises dans les transparents, notamment en titre de divers graphiques :
- Rankings of supplier countries for **sewing and garment technology**
- Exports of German **sewing and garment technology** to...(Europe/Asia/America, etc.)
- Europe's/Asia's/... most important supplier countries of **sewing and garment technology**
- Germany’s most important export markets for **sewing and garment technology**

Je sais que ces termes allemands en "-technik" sont souvent problématiques et que le mot "technik" est tantôt traduit par "technologie(s)", tantôt abandonné, et plus rarement traduit par "technique".
Ici, je ne sais donc pas s'il faut opter pour "technique", "technologie(s?)", ou peut-être "équipements pour...", étant donné que la VDMA est la fédération des constructeurs de machines et équipements industriels, et qu'elle est divisée en plusieurs branches correspondant chacune aux secteurs d'activité dans lesquels sont utilisés ces machines et équipements.
La version allemande de leur site énonce d'ailleurs : "Schon lange werden **die Maschinen und Anlagen der Näh- und Bekleidungstechnik** nicht mehr allein für die Herstellung von herkömmlichen Bekleidungsprodukten eingesetzt".

Quelqu'un aurait-il donc une idée de génie pour traduire de manière unique en français cette expression dans toutes mes phrases ?!

Je pense que le terme "confection" suffit en soi, bien qu'on puisse dire parfois "confection de l'habillement"
