English term or phrase: Too many left-brain organization men spoil the pot
It is a post about how the economic crisis was coming, somebody alerted them, but people in organizations that are left-brained, (use predominantely left cerebral hemisphere, being therefore more analytical and logical) don't look at the historical insight, focus more on what they are doing right now, and miss the alert, whereas right-branded people listened to the alert, (being more creative and able to have more of a historical prespective) but they were outnumbered in the organizations and ignored

Demasiadas mentes analíticas echaron a perder el pastel.
Explanation:
I chose past ternse to refer to sth. that has happened, rather than generalize as it's not an actual proverb even if it echoes one. 'Pastel' often has the connotation of riches to be shared (or not). It also occurs to me you could use the saying (demasiados cocineros echan a perder el caldo) and then paraphrase the English version, but I don't know how much leeway you've got.

http://www.google.es/search?hl=es&q="cerebro izquierdo"&meta...

"¡Ten cuidado, mija! Pay attention! One bad bean can spoil the pot."
