STO LAVORANDO ALLO SCRIPT DI UNA TRASMISSIONE E DEVO TRADURRE CIO' CHE UNO DEGLI INTERPRETI DICE.. LA FRASE RIGUARDA UNA BABY SITTER CHE CERCA DI SPIEGARE AI GENITORI QUALI ERRORI STANNO COMMETTENDO NELL'ALLEVARE I LORO FIGLI. JO DICE:
Look at the price you're paying for it. You’re not in charge, I mean lets face it, you're not in charge. Which brings me to the next point, discipline. Discipline is totally ineffective in this house, nothing is followed through. You undermine one another. They come at you aggressively and you pin ‘em down aggressively. You're grabbin’ em by the ankle.

Li state mettendo con la testa in giu'

Explanation:
Nel senso che stanno trattando i loro figli non con dolcezza e come si deve ma in un altro modo, tutto sbagliato.

you're grabbin’ em by the ankle

Vi state fregando a vicenda

Explanation:
Siccome un "ankle biter" è un bambino piccolo, pensavo che l'espressione, "grab them by the ankle", potesse riferirsi al fatto che reagendo aggressivamente all'aggressività dei bambini, i genitori non danno il buon esempio ai figli, mettendosi al loro livello. Un cane che si morde la coda...

li state trascinando sempre più in basso

Explanation:
"afferrare per le caviglie" vuol dire anche afferrare per trascinare giù qualcuno/qualcosa.
"li state trascinando sempre più in basso" equivale a dire "li state educando sempre peggio", "li state lasciando allo sbando".
almeno io la interpreto così..
ciao buon lavoro!
