we make things happen/we deliver results Explanation: not from the UK, sorry.... Macher of course doesn't translate into maker, but rather into doer, somehow or other I prefer the sound of "we make things happen" or "we create/deliver results/quality etc."... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 mins (2008-10-19 17:45:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- whenever possible, it's usually a good idea to use strong verbs, rather than nouns - in English anyway ;-) |

Movers & Shakers Explanation: oder vielleicht "men of action" (laut Murest-Sanders) For example, an individual may be known as a ***mover and shaker*** in a particular business activity because of his ability to get things done quickly and successfully. http://www.answers.com/topic/mover-and-shaker -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 mins (2008-10-19 17:45:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Muret-Sanders of course |
