implementation of features Explanation: If the document were one that engineers would use (for instance, a functional requirements specification), the common term would be "implementation of features". I didn't see the term "Merkmalsverwirklichung" at all in the WIPO Patentscope database (see link under "Web references"), so I can't comment on how it's generally translated in the patent world.
