manipulating (the vehicle's locks) using a wire Explanation: I think that it means they use some type of "cable", but it could be something like a wire hanger worked out to be a type of a hook, to get the car unlocked after inserting it through the broken door lock, or through a gap in the car window. I am assuming that "breaking the door lock" means they physically yang off the handle or something, which doesn't get the door open, but will give them access to a whole in which to stick the "cable" in in order to jimmy it open. At first I thought it meant that they are manipulating the vehicle's wires (cables) after accessing them by either breaking the door lock, or getting in from a gap in the car door or car window - but I changed my mind. ... Not that I have specailized knowledge about breaking into cars... Not at all... Really... |
