Arra tippelnék, hogy nem akart mást írni a jóember, minthogy olyan kötési mechanizmust kell alkalmazni az adapterekben, amiket a szerver támogat (ilyen értelemben lehet a kép az, hogy vele született), pontosabban azért (is) kell az adapter, hogy a szerver által támogatott módon lehessen a szerverhez kapcsolódni.

Az az egy holtbiztos, hogy az innate nem SOA-s és nem IT-s szakkifejezés, csak szépen akart fogalmazni az író. Ergo egy stilárisan neked tetsző körülírás (vagy legalábbis nem feltétlenül literális fordítás) lesz a legjobb választás.
