Explanation:
I'm unhappy with both the answers posted, as this is obviously Bahamian English, and this is from the context a word which has a totally different meaning in the Bahamas. I cannot see "Schützer" working, either! But this is what is meant by an executor, or someone nominated to supervises the division of an estate to the heirs. The "executor" protects all their interests.
