Наверное, это - другой вопрос. Понять, помочь понять - одно, передать бред, не в составе произведения гения, а как основное содержание, - я бы не взялся. Неблагодарная задача. "На жертвенном камне , молитва звучит как пароль". Молитва - пароль?! НА камне?
ну да, в этом направлении... да и у иностранного бреда поди тоже свои тонкости, так что передать это, чтобы "там" воприняли аналогичным образом - это испытание для профи высокого класса :)

It looks like that the verse-maker meant some euphemism, the Russian swear word that starts with "пи...." and often being replaced with "абзац". Sorry, if somebody feels offended.
Oh that makes sense...Pi fits into the theme because it is a number whose final digit will always be uncertain because it goes on endlessly (though to be fair, it is endlessly predictable).

Deborah, yes, this is an excerpt from a larger poem. The poem is mostly about the uncertainty of tomorrow, people making mistakes and being unwilling to admit them, going to church their whole lives but not accepting God, etc.

Explanation: Not very literal - but if we're talking about uncertainty, then "equaling" would work, especially since it's a math term like Pi. And if we're talking about religion, both the term "frenzy" and "ecstasy" are ideal because they are often used to describe intense emotional religious feeling...
