agree  BdiL: Noto con piacere che il "questuante" ha scelto questa versione. Certamente il "vezzo" di girare al presente questa citaz. biblica(ce l'ho anch'io nell'orecchio) è per colpire subito con la lingua arcaica di "giveth" che nn c'è in gave. Brava Olga! Maurizi

  -> Grazie Maurizio. Il dubbio mi era sorto perchè ho una lunga sfilza di esami di filologia germanica alle spalle quindi quel giveth mi era familiare come traduzione di gave. Poi l'ho riscontrato anche sulla Bibbia e il gioco era fatto! Ti auguro una B.G.
