Nach meinen Kenntnisstand gibt es diese Bezeichnung eigentlich nicht.
"Przednia maska" ist schon Unsinn, denn ein Auto hat nur eine "Maska", nämlich die vorne. Auch "przednia klapa" ist ungewöhnlich - typisch wäre:
pokrywa (maska) (komory) silnika
pokrywa (klapa) bagażnika
atrapa (chłodnicy) - und in diesem Falle gehe ich davon aus, dass er das meinte.

Entfernt ist noch die "Motorhaubendämmung" denbkar.

agree  Peter Kissik: Fronthaube ginge auch. In jedem Fall hat der Polizist bewiesen, dass er wenig Ahnung über Autos hat.
